Notes from Choir
Working hard in Room 105!
We are singing machines lately. They are flying through this music and really loving their medleys. The kids have been dabbling with sight reading using solfege syllables. It's a great skill to have as a musician and one that I think is so important. They are picking it up well! Our Spring Concert music has been so fun to learn. I can't wait to start seeing choreography and these movies and music come to life. Be on the lookout for a "Costume" handout. For our Spring Concert, each choir wears a costume that is appropriate for the medley or song that they are performing. It's a lot of fun to get creative and to see the music come alive on stage the night of the concert.
Treble Tone Parent Chaperones- Chicago
We will be meeting on Wednesday, April 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the choir room. We will review the trip itinerary, chaperone responsibilities and everything you need to know about Chicago. Your singer should also be bringing home a handout about this meeting early next week. We are looking forward to great trip!
Out of the building
I will be out of the building next week. If you have any immediate concerns, please feel free to reach out to Jesse Callahan, callahanj@sycamoreschools.org.
