After the civil war, Susan decided to focus more on the rights of women. She wanted equal rights regardless of race or gender. She and Stanton created and produced
''The Revolution''. It was produced weekly and was wrote to advertise women's rights.
Men, their rights, and nothing more; women, their rights, and nothing less

Barbara Jordon along with her growing up a poor black village in Houston, Texas she worked hard to achieve her dreams. Barbara went to Texas Southern University and graduated in 1956; She soon returned to earn her law degree. Barbra Jordon was born on February 21, 1936 in Houston, Texas. 1972-1978 Barbara was a lawyer and an educator who was a congresswomen. She was the first African-American congresswomen to come from the deep South and also the first women to be elected for Senate (1966). later in her career she won election the U.S House of Representatives in 1972. As her career went on she did many public speeches and influenced equality in all races.In 1991 Barbara's health had declined by this point and was in a wheelchair; she still tried to do her public speeches of equality.
