Wednesday, March 13, 1 – 3:30: Maple Sugaring and Maple Campfire Treats
This is a smaller family class than the weekend events and includes cooking a maple treat over the campfire!
February and March are sugaring season in Connecticut. The sap flows strongly on sunny days when it is just above freezing. Hopefully we will catch a sap run and taste some sap right from the trees! We will check out the Sugar Shack and see where the sap is boiled into syrup, make and eat a maple treat cooked on the campfire, and explore the forest for signs of spring.
All ages welcome, children must attend with an adult.
$10 per child ages 2 and up, adults and children under 2 free.
No dogs please.
