STEM 4 ECE Storytime Workshop!
Storytime Workshop
On Wednesday, April 8th, the library hosted Jan Pedden and Naomi Mier (from the Redwood City Public Library) who explained to students the benefits of applying science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) into their interactions with the children they teach or care for.
STEM magic all around
Participants had hands-on opportunities throughout the workshop to learn how STEM can easily be taught to young children with everyday objects.
Let's go for a walk
Naomi engages students on the endless STEM learning possibilities that can happen in storytime, daycare, preschool, or even a walk in the park.
