Joseph Stalin was born in Gori, Georgia December 21st, 1878. Stalin was known to be a very mysterious man and there were people who liked him and people who didn't. He was highly prone to illnesses, he was the 4th child born into his family. His 3 other siblings died at young ages leaving him as the only child. He was abused by his father, an alcoholic Georgian cobbler. Stalin was a well known man for many things. One is it is a fact the he killed 40 million more people than Hitler, so in other words he killed 60 million people. His brutal 30-year rule as an absolute ruler consist of a lot of atrocities, some were purges, expulsions,forced displacements, imprisonment in labor camps, manufactured famines, torture and the old-fashioned acts of mass murder and massacres. By the end of february 1953 he fell into a coma the lasted 4 days, after he regained consciousness he started struggling to stay alive. He was around 76 years-old and his health was not in the best shape. After struggling for many days stalin finally passed away. His date of death March 5th, 1953.
