Principal's Message
One of my favorite commercials is an esurance ad that ran about five or six years ago. In it, a woman is sharing photos "to her wall" for her friends to see. It makes me laugh every time:
As her friend shares when she tries to "unfriend her," that's not how this works. In the midst of this new way of doing school, we catch ourselves thinking about how this is not how this is supposed to work. But here we are, and here we are making it work.
I continue to be in awe of all that our educators are doing to maximize learning in our present situation, how flexible you as parents are in what we ask of you, and how incredibly resilient our students have been, both in school and when learning at home. Everyone is working incredibly hard to support the concept of five days of learning for each student.
As we enter the downward side of our first full week, we will continue to calibrate expectations and adjust as we go. Please continue to be in touch with your child's teachers and me to share what we need to know to best support your child and your family.
Sincerely,
Jeff LaBroad
