Are You a Solo Librarian?
Literacy: Your Pathway to Change the World
Save your spot for this multi-day conference centered around literacy!
July 7-8, 2020 (EC-12 educators, administrators, literacy leaders)
This two-day conference will focus on literacy for students in grades PreK-12. Learn from literacy greats such as Kate Roberts, Carol Jago, Tanny McGregor, and others as well as literacy educators from throughout Region 11.
Registration is $50 for Region 11 educators and includes lunch for both days and an R11 Literacy T-shirt.

This additional conference day will focus on foundational literacy for students in grades PreK-2. Featured speakers include Peter Reynolds and others as well as literacy educators from throughout Region 11.
Registration is $25 for Region 11 educators, and includes lunch.
Presentation Proposals Being Accepted
The deadline for proposals for the ESC Region 11 Literacy Conference has been extended to March 20, 2020. Whether you are an experienced presenter or have never presented at a conference before, we would love to hear from you! This is a perfect opportunity for librarians and teachers to share instructional partnerships.

Discovery Education - Women's History Month Resources
Discovery Education offers a variety of digital content to support learners during Women's History Month. Start with the Women's History Month channel or search for specific women or topics using the search box at the top.
If you are not sure how to access Discovery Education, don't hesitate to reach out to us and we will get you started. There are several different single sign-on options for districts, so let us know if you need help.
This is just one of the digital resources available to ESC Region 11 districts through the Instructional Solutions & Support contract, which most districts in Region 11 have purchased.
