MESSAGE FROM MR. PROCTOR
Dear Families;
Welcome to the end of March and the start of Spring. I hope you are as excited as your students are for spring break. Last week was definitely a welcomed sight and feel with all the warm weather. Also with the time change it allows all of us more daylight time in the afternoons and evenings to spend quality time with our families and friends.
Spring is always a busy time at middle school. Even though we only have one after school activity going right now with track. We have a lot of students also participating in softball, baseball and other club activities. Enjoy your time outside watching kids be kids.
Spring also brings with it the anticipation of a lot of school functions. We had our first field trip yesterday with our fourth graders. Our fifth graders are preparing for a field trip to BizTown. We have conferences coming up the second week we are back from break. We are also getting ready for our annual state testing in the spring as well as our district assessments. Once we start down the assessment stretch, we will be sending out some great tips on how to help your students be more successful during the testing period.
Again, enjoy spring break and rest up. If you are traveling, please do so safely. The next eleven weeks will go flying by with many activities. Stay informed and stay up to date. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school. We are always willing to help.
Take Care,
Mr. Proctor
