Halloween at Clinton Valley Elementary!
We will be celebrating Halloween on Friday, October 29th, which is also a half-day of school with dismissal at 11:55 am. Our Halloween parade will begin at 10:30 am, with classroom parties to follow right after the parade. The parade will be held outside on the track (weather permitting). If it rains, we will have to cancel the event. All family and friends are invited outside for the parade.
Unfortunately, no volunteers are allowed in the building at this time. The teachers will lead the classroom party fun, and PTO will provide a treat/drink. Families are allowed to contribute individually wrapped and bagged candy for their class if they so choose. Please be mindful of allergies, etc.
Please remember, costumes should not be non-violent. Please no "Scream" type masks, knives, weapons, blood, heavy make-up, etc. A great deal of effort is put forth at Clinton Valley to teach children to deal with problems in a non-violent way and remember what it takes to be a Cardinal (you must be Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Kind). We are also asking that students not bring props (i.e., skateboards, volleyballs, etc.)
Students should wear their costumes to school because it is a half-day of school, the parade begins outside at 10:30 am, and school is dismissed at 11:55 pm. We are asking parents to show up at 10:00 am
Thank you for your continued support, cooperation, and love for our students and staff.
