Laura Lawrence

"What differences I've seen through the years from my first job as a "special education teacher" in 1979 to today! I'm so proud of the work that we've done to meet the needs of all students through the years and I'll always be a strong advocate for continued changes. After 42 years in education, I'm looking forward to slowing down a bit, spending more time with my husband and grandkids and doing impromptu activities that pop up."
Rita Pressman
Director of Special Education
Kenston Local School District
Melanie Garbig
Executive Director of Pupil Services
Bowling Green City Schools
"I am honored to be recognized by OAPSA. My professional career began 36 years ago in a self contained ED classroom. I have been an intervention specialist, a 5th grade teacher, a school counselor and a principal. I have come full circle by finishing my career in the capacity of a pupil service administrator. Good luck fellow OAPSA members as you move forward!"
Best Wishes to All of Our OAPSA Retirees!
Brett Horvath
Assistant Superintendent
Geneva Area City Schools
"After 40 years, I am hanging it up. I appreciate all the help you have given me these last few years. Thank you and everyone else at or in OAPSA! "
