PRINCIPAL PENOYER'S WEEKLY MESSAGE
Good morning, Patriot Families,
Testing season has almost ended...we have one more day today and a handful of students who still need to makeup missed portions of the test. Thank you for working with us in partnership to limit appointments and have your child here on time, well rested and ready to SHINE bright! We are proud of our students and staff for all their hard work this year!
This week is National Volunteer Recognition Week! Thank you to all our volunteers who dedicate time and service to this campus. We appreciate you!
Our Food Drive for PV Food Bank ends next week. The class with the most food collected will earn a pizza party. Thank you for all your donations in support of our PV Community!
Tax Credit Drive Update: We had almost 40 tax credit donations raising over $11,000 for our school! We did not meet our goal of 100 within our timeframe, but we now have a baseline to beat next year! Our end goal will be 100 until we reach 100! It's never too late to donate! THANK YOU to all our family and friends who donated to Liberty Elementary!!

We are taking a survey to see which clubs would be of interest to our students and families. Pease fill out this form to indicate your interest or to give any additional feedback.
Thank you!

DONUTS WITH THE DISTRICT - SAVE THE DATE!
Check out Donuts with the District for an opportunity for parents, guardians, and community members to meet with Superintendent Dr. Bales, Cabinet members, and Board members in an informal setting throughout the PVSchools district.
This casual meet and greet setting offers the community a chance to hear from district leadership as well as provide feedback on timely education topics.
This event, supporting the PVSchools Strategic Plan, promotes community strength and collaboration within the district. Check out a Donuts event this year!
Donuts with the District will be held April 25, 2024 from 10:00am–11:00am in the Liberty Elementary School Library.
STARS STUDENTS
I am happy to announce our STARS students this week who were nominated by our special area teachers. These students have been doing a great job following STARS expectations of being Safe, Trustworthy, Accountable, Respectful or Supportive.
From Ms. Saul, Grayson in Third Grade. Grayson had an excellent week in STEAM! He stayed focused and worked hard during each day. With distractions around him, he continued to make positive decisions for himself. I'm so proud of his growth and love having him in my class!
From Ms. Mossey, Ryder in Fourth Grade. Ryder always falls STARS expectations in Art. He listens and follows directions, tries his best on his projects, helps Ms. Mossey, and supports his classmates. Ms. Mossey can always count on Ryder to shine like a STAR in Art. Way to go, Ryder!
From Mrs Broermann, Lily B. in Third Grade. Lily is a good listener in music class. She can be counted on to pay attention and follow directions. Lily is working hard to learn to play the recorder. She is kind and helpful and seems to always wear a smile. Keep up the positive attitude and good work, Lily!
Also From Mrs. Broermann, Ariya in First Grade. Ariya shows she is accountable when she follows the music expectation of "joining in with everything we do' in music. She supports learning in music and is a good example to the rest of the class with her great attitude and eagerness to follow directions. Good job, Ariya!
From Coach Murray, Lucy in First Grade. Lucy follows PE expectations each time she is in class. She plays fairly and always shows sportsmanship, helps clean up, and is a great team player. Thank you for being a STAR Liberty athlete.
Congratulations to all our STARS students!
