How did Pericles strengthen democracy?
Pericles strengthened democracy by reinforcing its advantages and also by raising good awareness. He did this around 462 B.c. Pericles was a brilliant politician in the state of Athens.
The Parthenon
The Parthenon was Pericles greatest accomplishment. The Parthenon was constructed between 447 and 432 B.C. It was a temple built to honor the patron, or protector, of Athens, the goddess Athena.

Pericles was a member of an aristocratic family. He supported democracy. In 460 B.C he became a leader of a democratic group. Pericles was the leader who strengthened democracy in ancient Greece.
