Legacy At-Home Learning Update
From Dr. Walder 5.11.20
We are in the final stretch, Titans!
I hope you are all celebrating family today on this chilly Mother's Day. We thank all our Mothers, Step-Moms, Moms to be, Grandmas, Aunts, and every family member that has stepped in to also help to create learning at home during this time, too!
Thank you all for your support to make it to the final week of the 2019- 2020 School Year. The continued partnership with our Titan Families has been incredible! This week will look a little different for most of our Elementary Students.
Here are a few details for what your child's week:
Students in Grades 1st- 5th:
Instruction will look different for students in 1st - 5th Grades as they will be completing the NWEA MAP Assessment. As your child's teachers have already shared, the online assessment will serve in place of some of their other work this week.
In order to accommodate everyone's schedules, each teacher has provided multiple testing windows for students to be able to log on and take the assessment online.
Dr. Warzecha has prepared an overview letter and support via the links below. Please review these at your convenience.
Students in JK and Kindergarten:
Our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students will not see any changes this week. Our littlest Titans will complete their final week of teacher-supported modules!
The last day of school for all students Friday, May 15th. The following week, on May 18, 19, and 20th, we will collect technology for the summer updates to make sure they are ready for the 2020- 2021 School Year. Please make sure you have signed up for a time to complete the Student Item and Technology Exchange. More information is listed at the bottom of this newsletter.
As always, please reach out to your child's teacher or me if I can support you and your Titan!
Take care! Dr. Walder

If you picked up a device, we will run it much like this process. Families will come to the Main Legacy Door. You will stay in your car and we will bring items to you. (Much like the meal or device distribution.)
Please bring a piece of paper with your child's name, grade, and teacher. We will exchange your child's items for the devices and library books (if your child has any). More details will be posted on Facebook and in our weekly memo for the final week of the Item Exchange.
