This is our final week of the "giants" theme. We will have fun reading about some make-believe giants. We are reviewing the letters, numbers, and shapes we have presented so far. Please continue practicing these at home. -Mrs. Vasquez
This week we are learning about the letter I, the number 9, numerical order (first, second, last), and the environment.-Ms. Ingroum

2C/2A ELA- We are working on long E patterns ee and ea, focusing on the author's purpose/story structure of the story "If the Shoe Fits," and identifying compound, simple, and combining sentences. We will also be able to identify describing words for actions. ON FRIDAY, WE TAKE CBA 4 AND STORY QUIZ! Remember these quizzes/tests are a big part of your overall grade!!! 5th Grade
Hello 5th grade parents and guardians! We have learned how to add and subtract fractions and mixed numbers. We are now moving on to multiplying and dividing fractions and whole numbers using models and incorporating these operations with word problems. In science, we are studying the water cycle. The student is expected to explain how the sun and the ocean interact in the water cycle. In social studies, we are studying the French and Indian War and the effects that it had on the colonies.-Mr. Walton
STEM Classes
Ms. Drake' s1st-2nd STEM will be learning about animal characteristics that help them live in their environment. Students will be drawing and describing their favorite animals.
