Peanut Butter Drive

Language Arts:
Students will use informational texts to recognize the central idea, supporting evidence, titles, and graphics in order to deepen their understanding of informational texts. Kindergarten will learn to use singular nouns to show a picture of one person, place, or thing. Students will plan and develop drafts in order to share their writing.
Math:
We have been learning to use many different math tools such as rekenreks, number lines, ten frames and hundreds charts.
Homework:
Due on Friday 9/20
Please answer the following question on any sheet of paper. You must show how you solved the problem, not just write the answer! (You can draw pictures etc). Remember to write your name!
Danny was in the block center building a city. He had 10 blocks. Ian gave 4 to Danny. How many blocks does he have now?

How many are there? FInd something in your household that comes in a set (e.g. a carton of eggs). Draw a picture of your items and record how many you counted in the set.
