Finance Park Was a Great Learning Experience!
Thank you to all of the 8th grade teachers, especially Mrs. Hose who taught the Financial Literacy lessons to our 8th grade students! We put our knowledge into action on Tuesday as we embarked on a financial planning simulation journey at the Junior Achievement Center. Thank you to our parent volunteers for making this event possible!
Regional Spelling Bee!
Congratulations to 8th grader Olivia Ghorai and 6th grader Raima Kalluvila who both competed in the CESA 6 Region 2 Spelling BEE this week at Ripon High School. There were 31 total participants from our region. Olivia placed third overall. Way to represent RMS!

FastBridge Reports
On Tuesday, February 20th, math and ELA teachers sent home the FastBridge reports from winter testing with students that did not sign up for conferences. If you did not see them, please ask your child(ren)!
Group Yearbook Pictures
On Friday, March 1, photographers from School & Sport Pics will be in the building to photograph all of our groups/clubs. They will also be taking candid shots for inclusion in the yearbook. Please make sure your student(s) has/have the following items with them that day, if they participate in any of these clubs:
Band: have your instrument
Chess Club: have your Chess Club t-shirt
Community Focus Group Next Week
Blair Rogacki, Board of Education President, announced that the school board is asking that any community members interested in helping to provide input in the District Administrator search process attend a Focus Group in the Richfield Middle School Library on Thursday, February 29th. Community members are invited to attend a session at 6:00pm on this day.
Focus Groups help the School Board develop screening criteria and interview questions for candidates. The Focus Group input will aid the School Board in finding the candidate who will best match the needs of the Holy Hill Area School District. All Focus Groups will be facilitated by WASB Search Services Consultant.
District Administrator Search
The Holy Hill Area School District School Board is requesting your assistance in the search for a new superintendent. Please follow the survey link and submit your responses by March 15, 2024.
From the lists that follow, select and prioritize the Personal Characteristics, Leadership Styles, Specialized Skills and Expertise that you believe are most important for the district’s new superintendent. Additionally, two sections ask you to indicate what you believe are the strengths and challenges of the Holy Hill Area School District.
Should you have additional thoughts and comments, please contact a member of the school board and speak directly with them. Thank you for taking time to help us with this most important responsibility.

Help Needed!!
HHOPS, our PTO, is in need of parent volunteer(s) to help assemble our middle school basket per grade for our upcoming district-wide fundraiser, Celebrate Families. As a lead you will be picking a basket theme, compiling items & donations from other parents, and assembling your basket for the online auction. If this seems overwhelming, please feel free to team up with another parent to complete. HHOPS will also send you helpful information to ensure your basket is successful. Your support in coordinating our auction baskets allows us to have a successful auction. This year is especially important, because the online auction funds will be used to help purchase a new playground for FLES.
Please follow the link to sign up to be a lead for your child's classroom: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4AAAA72AABF9CF8-47707225-celebrate#/
We also need donations of baskets and items to auction off. See more below! Thank you!! 😀
ATTENTION HHASD FAMILIES
HHOPS has started requesting donations for the Celebrate Families virtual auction held in April. If your family has any interest in donating a basket or item to auction off, we would welcome the contribution! Or perhaps your employer would be willing to donate. We are hoping for a great offering this year so we can beat last year's fundraising goal! Proceeds raised will go towards the purchase of new playground equipment at FLES. All donations are tax deductible! If you have any questions, please email hhopsworks@gmail.com.
As always, thank you for supporting your district PTO!
Auction Basket Volunteers Needed- Please consider helping your child’s classroom with making an auction basket for the Celebrate Families event in April. Last year, we had some amazing baskets thanks to our wonderful volunteers. Please consider helping HHOPS this year. The link is below and we have lots of open spots. Thanks.

Students Staying to Watch the Game?
Students who wish to stay after school and watch home games need to provide permission prior to attending the game. Email Mrs. Viste, viste@hhasd.org or call, 262-628-1032, to allow your child to stay after school. This can be provided for a specific date or noted for the entire season.

When is a Medical Excuse Required?
If your child has suffered an injury (broken bone, sprain, concussion, etc), a medical excuse MUST BE provided to the office. This is necessary to understand any accommodations that may be needed and an expected timeframe. The information is kept in the students medical file, as well as shared with necessary staff, so we can provide the required accommodations.
