Graham Family News
May 4th-7th
Hello Grizzly Families!!
Welcome to May! April was so beautiful with so much unexpected and highly appreciated sunshine and warmth! While we are all looking forward to a relaxing Summer Break, we still have 7 weeks of grinding out some intensive learning. Teachers have been meeting and focusing on those critical skills that they will cover over these next 7 weeks to make sure our students are ready for the next grade level. Student attendance is critical.
Thank you for being amazing partners with us as we have transitioned through so many changes during this crazy year! Because of your patience and support, we were able to keep the learning happening!
LOST BOOKS & FINES
Those overdue books can be sneaky and like to hide in some pretty tricky places. Here are some places to look: Under the couch, under your bed, on a bookshelf, on a table, in a drawer, or even in a sibling's room.
2021/2022 KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION INFORMATION
Dress Code Reminder
With the weather getting warmer, we frequently see fun warm weather outfits. Please be sure to review our dress code in our student handbook. Shorts, skirts and holes in clothing need to come past fingertips with arms at sides and shoulders relaxed. Tank tops need to have straps of at least three finger widths wide. This makes it comfortable for students to freely move about on the playground.
Important Dates
May 28: School Day to make up for Power Outage
May 31: Labor Day-No School
June 22: Last Day of School
Parent Pick-UP & Drop Off
Thank you for your patience and support during this time. We know it is lengthy and are looking every day at ways to improve.
In-person Arrival Time: 11:05-11:15 Students in seats, ready to learn.
Dismissal Time: 3:50 Students escorted to their departure destination-This may take a few minutes and we thank you for your patience.
Save time in parent pick-up and ride the bus. There is plenty of room to spread out.
Private Vehicle Transported Students- All personal vehicles are required to use the parent loop and adults are to remain in the vehicle. In order for this to run smoothly, we ask that your student have everything in their bag and ready to hop out of their vehicle upon entering the loop.
We will have all of our staff outside supporting students upon arrival and exit.
Again, parents/guardians are to remain in their vehicles for before and after school pick-up. This will help us meet our health department guidelines so our students can continue in-person learning.
Walkers- when you arrive on campus, you will have a staff member giving you directions to ensure social distancing. It is important to follow those directions so you can return to in person learning. Once students reach our tiny west parking lot, any persons accompanying students will need to remain there at that point. Only students will be able to continue further. We will have all staff outside for arrival and dismissal to ensure student safety and support.
