Personal Experience Using PBL
During the first semester of school my school district and surrounding community was devastated by a severe flood. This sparked an interest among the students in our environmental science topic. The main idea of the project was to reduce the effects of global warming and raise awareness about climate change in the community. The students were able to relate their findings to the recent flooding in the area as well as other environmentally-focused events.
