An exciting career exploration event is coming to our school next Friday, April 12th... We will be hosting our first ever touch-a-truck event in the front parking lot and lawn of NDE! Local community members have agreed to showcase the equipment they use in their everyday jobs and share their knowledge with our students. Students will get to explore everything from a fire/rescue truck to a bulldozer to a concrete mixer and even an ice cream truck (which just might have a treat for them). Over 25 vehicles will be on display! Keep your fingers crossed that the weather forecast holds at 65 and sunny for this special day for our kids!
