A Note From Miss Fisher
The next 3 and half weeks are busy and exciting for students. Please remember that consistency in routine during this time of year is critical in preventing disruptive behaviors. Keep those #PAWSitiveOfficeReferrals coming!
EVAAS Reflection
You will find a reflection sheet in your mailbox, please work to complete the reflection. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Boecke. We are working to finalize a schedule to meet with you individually to review your reflection.
Unannounced Abbreviated Observations
If you are on the abbreviated evaluation plan, Mrs. Petty and I will begin the round of unannounced abbreviated observations this week.
Vacancies
We continue to look for viable candidates for our three Instructional Assistant/Bus Driver spots (EC PreK, EC, and 1st Grade). If you know of anyone interested please let us know!
Title 1/Cafeteria Balances
Of the families that have applied, we are currently at 30% of our population for Free and Reduced lunch. In order for PES to maintain Title 1 status, we must be at 40%. Also, please ensure the cafeteria balance sheets get sent home with students who have outstanding accounts.
Wishing you well!
Miss Fisher

Morning Greetings...
Staff are expected to greet all students during arrival. We are working to learn more about our brain states and the importance a simple greeting can play on supporting students’ transition from home to school. Greetings allow students to be seen and when done with intention include the four components of connection. This connection allows the brain to upshift, decrease stress and increase cooperation and willingness. By providing choice (touch/non-touch) children have some control as well. It’s an opportunity for creativity as students can also create their own greetings.
Let us know if you need ideas or materials for Morning Greeting options!
