Quarter 1 Progress Reports
We have electronically sent you your student's progress report through email. If you have not received it by this afternoon, please go into PowerSchool and check to ensure your email address is correct. If you wish a paper copy, please contact the school.
Cadillac Schedule Changes
We wish to welcome Alexis Peters to our teaching staff. She has joined us as a science teacher on Team Cadillac. As the team is now fully staffed, we can reschedule most of team Cadillac, allowing for smaller class sizes.

All orders will be compiled and printed after the cut off date.
Orders have the option for picked up at AMS

You can choose to pay for shipping directly to you at check out.
DO NOT ADD expedited shipping at checkout, It will NOT get you your order any faster.
Orders will be ready for pick up or shipped directly to you approximately 2 weeks AFTER the store closing date.
NO RETURNS or EXCHANGES are accepted on decorated garments,
Be sure you have the correct sizes selected.
The store is set to close on October 15th.
AMS 8th Grade for Career Inspiration
We are fortunate again to be partnering with our friends at Bates for this school year. We are starting the year by asking 8th-grade students to think about setting ambitious future goals. Friday, October 13th Tumbledown students will visit Bates to inspire their futures.
In the three sessions, students will:
- Session 1: Look at how to access the College
- Session 2: Jobs and trades session with LRTC and CMTC
- Session 3: Popsicles and Building Tour with Bates Students
We hope you will begin inspiring your students by talking with them about their futures.
IMPORTANT DATES
- Monday, October 9th is Indigenous People’s Day/Columbus Day. There is no school on this day.
- Friday, October 13, 2023 - Tumbledown to Bates for the Inspiration Day

- Pumpkin Run: Friday, October 20th. A fun Costumed run (Awarded Competition for AMS staff and students)
We need 4 people to help supervise
- AMS picture make-up day is on Wed., November 1. Students who have not yet had their photo taken can have it done AND students who do not like their first photo can have it redone as long as they return their original picture proof.
- Thanksgiving Turkey Trot: Friday, November 17th. Raises funds to send students to summer camp and we collect Food to support out families for Thanksgiving.

AMS ATHLETIC RESULTS Week of October 2nd
From our Daily Infotainment
Monday the 2nd
Football:The Football team defeated Lewiston 12-0 and 8-0 on Saturday night! Great hustle and determination by all.
Field Hockey: The Field Hockey team defeated South Portland on Friday 5-1! Tilly Savage scored 3 goals, Quinn Mitchell and Grace Roy each added one goal respectively.
Tuesday the 3rd
Girls Soccer: 8th grade girls soccer lost but played hard. One goal was scored by Emily Poulin.
7th grade boys soccer defeated Bonny Eagle 5-1 with goals from Ahmed Jashami, Israel Muzela, Sean Nadeau, and Kasim Isaack. Great play in net by Charlie King.
8th grade boys soccer played tough but suffered a loss with a score of 3-0. Awesome efforts from Peyton Langlois and Cameron Hughes.
Friday the 5th
The 8th Grade Girls Soccer Team lost to Windham on Thursday. All girls played with great sportsmanship and kept their heads up. Shout out to Roree Libby and Kyky Boothot for stepping it up in net!
AMS Parent Teacher Organization
This year, we are:
- Organizing Dances: 9/8 - 11/3 - 1/19/24 - 3/29 - and the 8th Grade Semi Formal near 6/9/24
- Our Only Fundraiser, which starts on 9/12
- 7th graders to Monkey See Monkey Doo for team bonding and leadership skills: September
- Pumpkin Run: Friday, October 20th. A fun Costumed run (Awarded Competition for AMS staff and students)
- Thanksgiving Turkey Trop: Friday, November 13th. Raises funds to send students to summer camp.
- Teacher Appreciation each Month but focusing on May 8th - 12th.
