Thomas Worthington High School
BACK TO SCHOOL INFORMATION
Dear Cardinal Family,
There is still plenty of summer left! That's what I keep telling myself as our team works feverishly to get ready for the upcoming school year.
In all seriousness, this information is intended as a resource, not a stressor. Whether your family is new or returning, it's been a while since we've done our traditional back-to-school schedule pickup. We plan to host our normal event this year--meaning you get to get out of your car! There are a couple of new stops I want to bring to your attention, so please read through the newsletter for more details.
This year, we will have all the normal things, like school pictures, fee payments, data updates, textbooks, schedules, and lockers. New this year, Chromebooks! We have enough supply for each student to sign one Chromebook out for their entire high school career. (Chromebooks must be returned at the end, like a textbook.) Also new for this schedule pickup will be a COVID Pfizer vaccine clinic, run by Columbus Public Health. Both pre-registration and walk-ins are welcome, and there is no cost. The second shot will be given during school in the first week of September. Our vision and hearing screenings will also return for 9th and 11th grade students as part of the schedule pickup.
We are getting excited to welcome our Cardinals back to campus.
Please take a look at the newsletter, and we'll see you in a little over a week!
Sincerely,
Pete Scully
