Principal's Message
I love seeing and talking to your children every day! At arrival and dismissal, during lunch, and in their classes - it brings me so much joy to see them engaged and learning. I had an opportunity to learn a few chords on the ukulele with Mrs Larson's 5th grade class today. So fun - but definitely not as easy as it looks! The ukuleles were gifted to Hallinan from the amazing PTO a couple of years ago so that our exceptional music teacher, Mr Haynor, is able to teach 3rd, 4th and 5th graders how to play every year. I'm just learning a few chords (C, Am, F and G - and let me be honest, G is giving me some trouble), but your children - they can play!
Play some music and dance around a bit today!

Information Session with OHSU to talk through the K12 COVID-19 Student Screening Program
Lake Oswego School District is partnering with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) to implement the K12 COVID-19 Student Screening Program for your child to get free weekly COVID-19 PCR tests through your school. The program is funded by Oregon Health Authority and implemented by designated providers.
The testing program is voluntary and requires active permission from students’ guardians. LOSD is currently enrolling LOSD elementary students who wish to participate in the program.
LOSD is hosting an Information Session with OHSU to talk through the K12 COVID-19 Student Screening Program, and to answer questions. The session will be recorded and shared in The Current Friday.
Thursday, Sept. 23
5-6 p.m.
Zoom: https://loswego-k12-or-us.zoom.us/j/85661921714
If you have any questions before or after the Information Session, please email: covidstudenttesting@loswego.k12.or.us. This email has been set up to help answer questions in a timely manner, while our nurses focus on care for our students.
Testing is one of many tools we use to reduce the spread of COVID-19, along with masking, physical distancing and washing your hands.
Technology Consent/Device Damage and Loss Protection Plan
Hello LOSD Families,
Each student must have a Technology Consent form on file each year.
The District is once again offering a Device Damage and Loss Protection Plan to ease the financial obligation if your student's District Device is damaged or lost.
When you fill out the Tech Consent form, you will "accept" or "decline" participation in the Protection Plan. The cost is $20 per student, with a family maximum of $60. Participation in the program is completely optional. Fee waivers are available for those with financial need.
Click HERE to directly access the 2021-2022 Technology Consent form.
Please fill out one form per student. Payment instructions will be communicated to participating families. For a complete description of the Device Damage and Loss Protection Program, please visit the District's website at https://www.losdschools.org/Page/7761
