Read-Imagine-Create
Mrs. Schramm’s 7th grade literature class took on the Read-Imagine-Create challenge posed by San Diego’s Write Out Loud organization. Each year, Write Out Loud chooses an author of classic literature to inspire students. This year’s choice was Robert Louis Stevenson.
Those who choose to compete are asked to read any work by the chosen author, re-imagine the images and themes, and create a project in a medium of their choice.
Mrs. Schramm’s students read both A Child’s Garden of Verses and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
