Valentine's Day
We will NOT be having any Valentines' Day Celebrations at school this year. Students will NOT be able to exchange Valentines at school as we are doing our best to prevent the spread of Covid 19. As we don't share any materials or supplies at school, it doesn't make much sense that we would then have students sharing Valentines. I know this is a bummer, but we would rather err on the side of caution then have students contract the virus. Thank you for your understanding.
Yearbook Update 2020/2021
Since class parties and events have been cancelled or modified this year we’d like to fill our yearbook with any pics taken from home, school etc. Please submit any pictures of your students with an ugly Christmas sweater or any holiday gear, any spirit wear while remote learning pics or some at home Christmas pics to dijuliusfamily@gmail.com
Fees were due on December 20, 2020
If you have any questions feel free to contact Mrs. Wynn at 440-572-7180.

Also; Student Council News:
Student Council is working on a project: We are making Valentine's for seniors living in Assisted Living. If you would like to help (2nd-5th graders), here's what you do:
Make a paper Valentine's Day card. Follow these rules:
No glitter or glued objects that can fall off; No Candy attached; No names (Just write From: Whitney Elementary School.
Here are some sayings to get you started: Happy Valentine's Day; You've Got Mail; Smile; Be Mine; Sending Cheer; You are my Sunshine (Only happy, positive messages).
Turn cards into your teacher. Teachers, put the cards in the mailbox of Mrs. Trimper or Mrs. Ambroziak by February 5th. Valentine's will be "quarantined" appropriately prior to delivery to insure everyone's safety.
