Truitt Middle School
SEPTEMBER 2022
A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians,
We are off to a GREAT start to our school year. I have heard so many great comments about the things happening at Truitt. Many of you expressed your appreciation for the focused safety and security training that our staff participated in, the tremendous support during our Timberwolves Express, and our constant quest to bring out the best in all. One of the things we say is #RTP, which stands for Remember the PACK. This symbolizes our students, staff, and community efforts to do all we can to benefit our students. It has been said that it takes a village to educate a child, and I believe that our school, parents, and community are united for this purpose.
This year, we are launching a few new projects to increase our students’ experiences. Our project includes “The Timberwolf Express” daily video announcements, which allow students to showcase the great things happening on our campus. Numerous students lead clubs and organizations to build school spirit and social skills—participation in competitions for digital art, robotics, fabrication, and drone flying.
Please check out our @TruittCFISD social media pages for a glimpse of the great things happening at our school.
