Inclement Weather Decisions & Pivot to Virtual Instruction
Per AOB policy, RSPS follows Howard County Public Schools when making weather related decisions for delays and closures.
We will now pivot to virtual instruction for any future school closures due to inclement weather because we have used the 3 "snow days" that were built into the calendar.
Snow Day Virtual Instruction Expectations
- Dress down day for students (see handbook for policy).
- Attendance for all classes is mandatory.
- Class starts at 9 AM.
- Special Area classes (Spanish, PE, Art, Music) will post asynchronous work.
- Middle School (6-8) will follow the normal daily schedule.
- PK-5 will follow grade/age appropriate schedules for online instruction. Teachers will communicate this information with you.
- Google Meet will be used for meetings.
Nail Polish Reminder
Please review the policy in the student-parent handbook.

Teaching Mass video for your family - In the Spring of 2020, Father Tyler recorded a wonderful Teaching Mass, which gives a great explanation of what takes place during the Mass, and he also spends more than 10 minutes answering questions at the end. We hope you enjoy watching!
RSPS Spirit Store - Check out the RSPS Spirit Store and show your Panther pride. Items can be customized for individual names, sports, and clubs.
