Shout Outs
- A shout out to our 1st - 5th grade teachers. We recently received MAP testing data that indicated high math growth for our entire school. We spent a great deal this year focusing on math instruction and how to grow our mathematicians. We look forward to taking this momentum into the upcoming school year. Additional thanks to C. Prichard, K. Spitzform, and N. Dixon who pushed into 1st and 2nd grade classes to support mathematicians. Also to be thanked are B. Lester, C. Sommers, J. Owens, and L. McLeod who supported students through math intervention and resource.
- A shout out to our 4K teachers and assistant (S. Gentry, V. Valentine, R. Gould, and L. Wilcox). This past Friday was the last day for our four year olds. It takes a tremendous level of love, patience, and care to work with the youngest of learners. We commend these educators as the four's leave our school with newfound skill sets they gained over the course of this school year.
- A shout out to our entire faculty and staff. A successful field day requires the contributions of each of you. Our students thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Additional thanks to our volunteers and special thanks to Coach Geurkink and Coach Russell for planning and organizing this event.
- A shout out to D. Cox, B. Gantt, and M. Whittaker for their behind the scenes work for our upcoming talent show. We thank them for their planning and working with students in preparation for this event.

Our cafeteria manager, Denis Bobb, recently underwent a medical procedure requiring her to be out of work for the remainder of the year. Due to family request this information was not initially shared. She is recovering well. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers for a smooth recovery.
We develop students who care about the world we live in and express critical thinking through natural curiosity and wonder.
