Kindergarten's January Newsletter
Welcome to the new year! We hope that all families had a wonderful winter break. We look forward to many new and exciting learning experiences for our children in the year 2022!!
Reading
We will continue to reinforce letters and sounds. We will also focus on how these sounds go together to read words! Please make sure your child is reading every night, and recording it on their monthly reading log.
Math
We will continue our unit on addition and subtraction. We will also begin learning about teen numbers. Please encourage this at home through real-life experiences!
Science/Social Studies
We will continue to learn about how we can be the same, yet different from others. We will also explore important people in our nation’s history.
Important Dates and Reminders:
Jan 3rd - School Reopens
