Fannin Library receives Bryan ISD Educational Foundation Grant!
The Fannin Library was awarded a $4,000 grant for the project “Planting Seeds for Literacy” to purchase additional Spanish and Bilingual resources for use by parents, preschool children and students.
Grant goals are to show an increase in the number of students reading at or above grade level and increase parental involvement and presence at school. 240 books have been ordered. This is an incredible gift to our school and we are very thankful for it!Collaboration Corner
The Library staff has collaborated with teachers to provide materials and expository texts for First and Second grades, biographies and picture books for an author studies and other titles and materials to meet needs of classroom teachers.
There is a teacher learning station in the library office. Coffee, hot chocolate , teacher magazines, and a current training topic will be available each week.Digging in Databases

Parents Check out the library!
Parents come to the library to check out books too! Preschool children are learning how to use a library and enjoying some good books! Parents come for help choosing books and finding appropriate level books in both English and Spanish.
