Reminders & Updates
ACT & PreACT Secure Testing - March 19
Please read the letter(s) and information that are specific to your student(s) grade level:
12th Grade:
Tuesday, March 19 is Virtual Day for Seniors so they do not come to WBHS. Your student will complete the Senior Survey to count for their attendance. The Senior Survey will be emailed to them on March 19.
If 12th grade students come to school on March 19, they will report to the West Cafeteria during testing.
9-11 Grade Students & Parents/Guardians: 2023-24 ACT & PreACT Secure Information for Families Brochure
11th Grade:
Monday, March 11: Students need to be in Homeroom to complete their MyACT Student Activities

If you give your student permission to leave after their assessment is over, complete the following online attendance form: March 19 Attendance: Parents Complete (For students in grades 9, 10, & 11).
Students have already received information during mandatory Homebase on Monday, Feb. 26 to communicate the importance of testing day and what they need to do to be prepared. Here is the communication shared with students: ACT/PreACT Secure Student Communication.
Community Conversations on Facilities
The West Bend School District is conducting long-range facility planning, which includes assessing its buildings and grounds to better understand the needs and opportunities. Community members are invited to give feedback on priorities for the future of the WBSD school buildings, grounds, and other facilities.
Please consider attending a Community Conversation so you can share your thoughts regarding our long-range facility planning and discuss priorities.
2nd Community Conversation: Potential solutions with costs to address facility needs and priorities identified from community and staff input.

WBHS Highlights & Celebrations
On International Women's Day, March 8, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Gitter took 18 high school girls to a Girls in the Shop event hosted by Kettle Moraine Metal Products and Linde.
Students in Mr. Gitter's manufacturing class are building frames to hold the book pages for an upcoming project at Green Tree.
