Truth for Teachers
Do you love podcasts? Then do I have a great educational podcast for you! The Truth for Teachers Podcast is consistently ranked in the top ten K-12 podcasts on iTunes. Each Sunday, a new short episode is released to speak life, encouragement, and truth into the minds and hearts of educators. Subscribe to get a fresh dose of inspiration for the week ahead!
#HawkTechTip: 30 Ways to Use Padlet in the Classroom
Padlet is an online virtual “bulletin” board, where students and teachers can collaborate, reflect, share links and pictures, in a secure location. Padlet allows users to create a hidden wall with a custom URL. Padlet creators can also moderate posts, remove posts, and manage their board 24/7. Click HERE to read more!
Check out this #WhyIWrite Padlet that Mrs. Duncan, our ELA Specialist, recently created for our students to celebrate National Writing Day.
Bouncy Balls
If you find your students getting louder and louder during collaborative work time, then look no further than https://bouncyballs.org/. The Bouncy Balls site is a fun way to manage classroom noise using your computer microphone!
Users will need to enable their computer microphone. They can then adjust the noise sensitivity and theme (there's a creepy eyeballs option to tie into Halloween) and include noise alerts. Check it out today and enjoy a quieter classroom!
