Dear Families,
The WPHS teachers and staff have really enjoyed having students back for face-to-face instruction this month! We missed the students so much during our remote learning time and are so glad that students are finally back! We couldn't be happier! Thank you to all for your continued flexibility and support as we navigate through this time. Happy New Year!

Jayden Icenogle
9th Grade
Jayden Icenogle, son of Joseph & Paula Icenogle
Jayden is an outstanding student who is earning all A’s. He displays excellent behavior to staff. He is dependable and displays a strong work ethic in classes. He is a positive, respectful, student who displays our “Do it R.I.G.H.T.” philosophy.
Katelynn Ashbaker
10th Grade
Katelynn Ashbaker, daughter of Lisa Duffy
Katelynn has been earning all A’s all year long at WPHS! She displays excellent behavior to staff and her peers. She is dependable and displays a strong work ethic in classes! She is a positive, respectful, student leader who is on our school’s “Cyclone Renaissance Team.”
Kyle Rhoads
11th Grade
Kyle Rhoads, son of Chad & Cindy Rhoads
Kyle is a quiet, respectful student with strong, consistent attendance to school all year. He respects all teachers and peers, and consistently contributes well to classes, sports, and WPHS. He has earned good grades and he is a quiet student leader who contributes to the “Cyclone Renaissance Team.”
Rebecca Novak
12th Grade
Rebecca Novak, daughter ofJaime & Arlene Novak
Becca has been an outstanding student which is evident by her earning A’s all year! She has improved so much from last year. Becca is a quiet Senior who has a positive attitude and she is more dedicated to consistent attendance and higher grades.
Ms. Corky Biswell
Staff
Ms. Corky Biswell, Agriculture/Science Teacher & FFA Co-Advisor
Ms. Biswell won the prestigious “Golden Owl Award” for our district and is 1 of 5 finalists in the state of Illinois for “Agriculture Educator of the Year!” She builds great relationships with students and FFA members. She takes pride in the accomplishments of her students and our FFA chapter. Corky prepares all students for college and careers post-WPHS and equips them with the skills and leadership they need to succeed in whatever they do in life.
