Druid Hills High School
Community Week at a Glance
Congratulations Ms. Staines
Upward Bound
DHHS enjoyed great success during the Upward Bound summer enrichment program-- participating students visited five college campuses throughout Georgia and other states, received grade-level tutorials from certified teachers, ACT free prep classes, and concluded the program with a week-long tour to Louisiana where they visited several universities.
Georgia Perimeter College and Upward Bound has invited DHHS to participate in the 2015-16 academic enrichment program, beginning in October, 2015. DHHS students will have the opportunity to visit Washington DC or another designated U.S. monument at the conclusion of the program!
Please contact Ms. Fatima if you would like to recommend a student for the program. Upward Bound targets low income and potential first generation college students.
