We have some fun activities planned for Field Day which includes water activities. I would suggest students bring a change of clothing for the day!
In addition, I am looking for parent volunteers to help with the day.

Time: 3rd-5th Grade 8:50-10:30 & K-2nd 12:55-2:15

Kindergarten Registration 2022 -2023
Below is a list of students who can complete sign-up at Hanawalt. Anyone who does not fall into one of the categories listed below should be sent to the Welcome Center.
1. Younger siblings of students who currently attend Hanawalt and reside in our attendance area.
2.Younger siblings of students who currently attend Hanawalt who do not live in our attendance area but have a 22/23 WIDT or OE approval letter.
To sign-up at Hanawalt, please provide the student’s Birth Certificate, Immunizations, Parent ID and Proof of Residency.
After July 11, 2022, regardless of the situation, ALL new students including incoming siblings, will need to go to the Welcome Center.

Spirit Store Open Again!
The Hanawalt Spirit Store is open again with new Spring and Summer items to show your school spirit. Proceeds benefit Hanawalt Elementary School PTA. Deadline to order is April 22nd. Order here: https://www.imagesolutionsdm.com/showroom/168212.
School orders will be distributed in late May.
Thank You for Helping Make “A Week in the Arts” a Success!
Thank you to all the teachers, parent volunteers, staff, and artists who helped make this year’s A Week in the Arts a success. The kids had so much fun and learned a lot too.
Parents Night Out Silent Auction
Parents Night Out is TONIGHT! One of the best parts of the event is the Silent Auction and bidding begins this Thursday, April 14, at noon! There are more than 100 items to bid on, including concert tickets, wellness packages, some of your favorite products and services, and student-created art. You do not need to attend the event to participate in the silent auction. Anyone can bid on and win silent auction items (local pick-up only, items will not be shipped). Please read on for directions on how to bid.
Bidding Owl – Bidder Information:
Step 1: Go to https://www.biddingowl.com/HanawaltPTA
Step 2: Click on "Register" if you are a first time bidder
Step 3: Follow the prompts (fill in the blanks) on the registration page
Step 4: Bidding Owl will send an email to you to activate your account
Step 5: Activate your account and start bidding at noon on Thursday, April 14!

Just click "Login" and start bidding
Bidding ends at 8:45 p.m. on April 21
Bidders should either attend the event or be available to pick up items locally.
