CSW Service Projects
Service #1 - Trenton Area Soup Kitchen
As a school community, we will be making 500 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches* for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen. We will supply a brown bagged meal of a sandwich, fruit, cookies and drink. Our younger students will be decorating the lunch bags, our middle school students will be making cards of encouragement to be included in the bag, and our older students in grades 5 to 8 will be making all the sandwiches. The teachers, faculty, and school will be supplying all the items needed to complete this service project.
*Any student in grades 5-8 with a peanut allergy will be working in a separate room assembling the bags.
We are in need of some medium size boxes to transport the sandwiches to the shelter that afternoon. If you have any boxes laying around after the holidays and have not yet recycled, please consider helping us out. The boxes will not be returned.
Service Project #2 - Code Blue Shelter
We will once again join with the parish community and support the Code Blue Shelter. This shelter supports the local homeless community. The items will be boxed and delivered directly to the shelter.
You may send in the items between now and Friday, February 4th.
