Create a Pay-To-Play Party to Support the Auction
Do you love a good theme party for families, adults or kids? Poker Night? 80's Dance Party? Halloween? Super Bowl? Family Camp Out? The list can go on and on.
Have a special skill to teach others? Knitting/Crochet? Yoga/Dance? Arts and Crafts? Cooking or Baking?
These Pay-To-Play options at our annual auction raise one-third of our total revenues and are a huge part of how we raise funds to help benefit our school.

Also...If you love parties but don't have time to plan or host one, consider being an party sponsor.

Library News
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Winter Break! In the library, coming back to school in January means the students and I discuss the best books of 2017. Winners of the Youth Media Awards—Caldecott, Newbery, and Coretta Scott King book awards, to name a few—are announced in mid-February this year. Along with exploring the best books from 2017, we look at winners from past years and discuss what made them award-worthy. It’s a great activity where students have a chance to give their opinions and back it up with evidence!
Donations
Thank you to Leo and Jessa Pereira and family for donating Norse Myths, Tales of Odin, Thor, and Loki; Hazardous Tales, Raid of No Return; Brave Red, Smart Frog-A New Book of Old Tales; and The Uncommoners, The Crooked Sixpence. James Yokomizo and family donated Love. Check out the Thornhill Library Amazon Wish List if you would like to donate to the library.
Happy Reading,
