This Week
Monday, 10/23-Hope Squad initial training. If your student is involved in the Hope Squad, they will be working with their advisers on the first 3 topics of the Hope Squad Manual during this school day, including QPR. To learn more about Hope Squad, click here.
Tuesday, 10/24-Picture retake day-for students who have still not gotten their picture taken or for those who were not satisfied with their first picture.
Friday, 10/27, Honor Society Fall Activity, Straw Maze in Rexburg. If you were in Honor Society at the end of last year, you would still be in Honor Society at the beginning of this year. If you have any questions about Honor Society, contact Mrs. Johnson at jollyr@d93.k12.id.us
Saturday, 10/28, Barnes and Noble Book Fair 10 am - 4 pm. More details to come!

Monday, October 30 - Orchestra Concert
Friday, 11/3, Deadline for eligibility forms for 7th grade students running for team representative. Turn forms to Mrs. Trimble in room 39. If forms are turned in 11/3 is the first day students can begin campaigning
Friday, 11/3, Choir clinic at Rocky Mountain. If your student is in choir, they get to join 5 other schools, receiving special instruction followed by an amazing performance.
Wednesday, 11/8, Preliminary voting for 7th grade team representatives in advisory
Thursday, 11/15, Interviews with 7th grade team representative candidates broadcast over RMtv news and final voting
Friday, 11/17, Last Day of the Trimester
November 20-24, Thanksgiving Break, No School

PTO TREAT FRIDAY!
SUPPORT OUR RMMS TEACHERS!
Starting Friday, Sept. 29, during the RMMS lunch hour, the PTO will sell snacks, drinks & NEW this year, basic school supplies! Anything between the cost of $0.25 to $3.00 so there's plenty of options!
These sales will continue throughout the school year every 1st & 3rd Friday per month(& some 5th Fridays). There'll be plenty of opportunities to participate in this fundraiser!
MOST IMPORTANTLY, 100% of the much needed raised funds go right back into the classrooms for our teachers throughout the school year!

Basketball
Girl's basketball open gyms. Any girl who may be interested in trying out for the girl's basketball team or any girl who just wants to play basketball is welcome to come.
There have been some changes to the dates. The following are the current dates on the calendar
Wednesday, October 25, 5-6 pm
Wednesday, November 8, 5-6 pm
Wednesday, November 15, 5-6 pm
Wednesday, November 29, 5-6 pm
Wednesday, December 6, 5-6 pm
Boy's basketball open gym will be from 4-630 pm, Monday, November 27.
