A Note from the Head of School
BCS Family,
It's hard to believe we are entering into Spring Break already! I love this time of year for several reasons (The March Madness Basketball Tournament, warmer days and cool evenings, yard prepping, etc.), but more importantly, I love the visual imprint God grants us in seasons.
Spring is a time when the seeds of life and renewal begin to show through. There is a resilience that comes through enduring the frigidity (or slightly above freezing temps in our neck of the woods) and barren season, that in turn allows for a strengthening of return to life played out in our foliage here every year. For me this is a picture of the truth held each time we cross into the Easter threshold...that every resurrection is preceded by a death.
The hope of where we walk is that God utilizes every season of life to form us and make us into a people that carry His likeness on the earth, and this comes through the different seasons. Some are more enjoyable and vibrant, others are invitations into a deeper work that take plenty of grit and grace to navigate. My hope for everyone is that as we embark into this Spring that we will take hold of the beauty of life God has for each of us. It might be seen as simply a seedling sprouting or a mature tree coming in full bloom. Regardless, each holds the life and beauty of God waiting to be unveiled, just as each moment we traverse carries the same potential.
I excitedly await what God has in store!
