Raising Competent and Confident Children - Triple P Parenting has some truly incredible strategies for becoming the best parent you can be. This workshop focuses specifically on how to parent your child so they grow up strong, healthy, and able to do anything they set their mind to.
Microaggressions - Back by popular demand! The word "microaggressions" might be something you've heard around lately, but do you know what it means? Lisa Eby from Buncombe County Health and Human Services and Lucia Daughtery, the exective director of Asheville Buncombe Community Relations Council will be here to shed light on microaggressions, tell you why they matter, and field your questions.

Weekly Recurring Sessions
Motheread and M.A.N.O.S.
Motheread combines literacy skills with personal growth, child development, and professional skill-building. Plus, attendees will build community and make new friends! M.A.N.O.S. takes place concurrently. This program is created to serve Latino students from 8th, to 12 grade. On Mondays, Latino students get assistance with their homework, leadership development, and college- readiness. Childcare is provided and previous registration required. Circle of Parents from FIRST
Circle of Parents provides a friendly, supportive environment led by parents and other caregivers. It is place where anyone in a parenting role can openly discuss the successes and challenges of raising children and where parents and caregivers can find and share support.
