#BullyingPreventionMonth
from the students' perspective
WE WANT A VOICE!
Yes, parents have all these ideas on how to prevent "bullying." But do they really understand? Parents have ideas of how students are being bullied, but don't bother to ask the students!
To the kids:
-Be open to other ways of seeing things: other kids are different, they think you are different, embrace our difference!
-The Golden Rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated. Before saying that mean comment, think about how you'd feel if it was said to you!
-Be the change: It's hard to stick up for somebody who's being bullied or tell an adult, but if you see the problem and ignore it, you ARE the problem.
DON'T BE A BYSTANDER, BE THE CHANGE!
Get Involved!
Start/Join clubs for bullying and bad behavior. Make it a safe place for those affected by bullying to come and share their stories. It's a change reaction! Once you help somebody, they'll help somebody else, and so on!
