PRINCIPAL LINSKI NOTES - Week of March 25, 2024
Dear ISAAC Families,
As we embrace the arrival of spring, I hope this letter finds you and your families in good spirits. With the changing season comes the beginning of the last quarter of the academic year, and we are excited to embark on this final stretch together.
As we move forward, I want to take a moment to remind our students and families of some important policies here at ISAAC. Firstly, please be aware that the use of headphones and cell phones within the school building is not permitted. We strive to create a focused and conducive learning environment for all students, and minimizing distractions is key to achieving this goal. Your cooperation in reinforcing this policy with your child is greatly appreciated. Additionally, as the weather warms up, it's a good time to review our Student/Parent handbook regarding dress code policies.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns regarding school policies or any other matter, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We value open communication and partnership with our families, and your feedback is always welcome.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation as we navigate the remainder of the school year together. Let's make these final months memorable and successful for our students!
Warm regards,
Principal Linski
ISAAC Middle School Wraps Up School Year with a Blast at Dance and Dine Event
Last night, ISAAC Middle School hosted its final Dance and Dine event of the year, and it was a night to remember! Families and students gathered at the school for an evening filled with dancing, delicious food, and community connections.
Led by ISAAC's very own Dance and Theater teacher and last year's Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Grundy, attendees danced through the decades, learning popular dances from different eras. Everyone enjoyed grooving to the music and embracing the spirit of each era.
The event not only provided an opportunity for families to dance and have fun together but also showcased the strong community bonds at ISAAC Middle School. It was heartwarming to see students, parents, and staff members come together to enjoy a fun filled evening.
To top it all off, attendees were treated to delicious food from local eateries Tony D's in New London and Pasta Vita in Old Saybrook, CT. The scrumptious spread added to the festive atmosphere and ensured that everyone left with full hearts and satisfied appetites.
The Dance and Dine event is an integral part of ISAAC Middle School's 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21CCLC) initiative, which focuses on strengthening family and community connections. By providing opportunities for families to come together outside of the classroom, events like these contribute to the overall well-being and cohesion of the school community.
As the school year comes to a close, the Dance and Dine event served as a fitting farewell to another successful academic term at ISAAC Middle School. It was a night filled with laughter, music, and memories that will surely be cherished by all who attended.
With such a fantastic turnout and enthusiastic participation, the ISAAC Middle School community is already looking forward to more exciting events and gatherings in the upcoming school year. Until then, let's keep dancing and celebrating the spirit of togetherness!
