Technology Updates and Events
New Student?
- Email Betsy so she can create their account.
- After the student has be assigned to the correct rosters in Infinite Campus, the student should have access to all county resources through Classlink.
- For BrainPop, you will have to go into your class and Update the Roster for the student to show up.
Google Apps for Littles
Alice Keeler is a huge Google apps educator. She has cowritten a book with Christine Pinto, titled Google Apps for Littles. I haven't read the book, but they share out so many free templates online for you to start using right away! The best part is, you can tweak these for any age group.
- Fish Bowl Graphing - Use this activity to go along with Dr. Seuss' One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Students will manipulate a drawing in Google Sheets by adding fish to a bowl. Then, they will graph the data and write supporting equations.
- Ask and Respond Template - Ask students a question and have them respond in Google Slides
March is Get Georgia Reading Month!
Let's keep promoting literacy and a love of reading at Sawnee!
- Students can create bookmarks of their favorite books using this bookmark template in Google Drawings (by Alice Keeler, of course)
- Share selfies of your students reading for social media and newsletter posts
- Email Betsy if you want ideas for students to create their own booktrailers!
