SBHS TEACHER SHARES EXPERIENCES WHILE IN TAIWAN
This past week, Social Studies teacher Samantha Saldanha-Kuncharam spoke to SBHS Global Studies students about her experiences while on a Fulbright Scholarship in Taiwan. This experience allowed students to ask questions about her trip and gain cultural and political understandings about the island. They also gained insight into America’s foreign policy in the region. This lecture was part of the Fulbright’s program requirements to bring lessons and knowledge back to our students and staff. It also serves to highlight the unique expertise of our Social Studies faculty.
