Keeping the Crew up to Date! Volume 1 Issue 26 - 3/20/22
Greetings Clipper Nation!
I just happened to glance at the entire 2021-2022 school calendar this week and realize that by the end of next week, we only have two and half months of school left. When this year started, no one knew exactly what to expect. There has been a lot of transitions, but the end of the school year is really right around the corner.
Just a reminder as we approach the end of the 3rd to be mindful of your attendance. If your student goes over 5 unexcused absences, it will result in a student needing to earn back their grades. Otherwise, E's will appear on their report card for the third term.
Students who missed taking the Maryland School Climate Survey will have the opportunity to take the second week of April. This survey is important, as these ratings are reported to the state and are part of our ratings on the Maryland School Report Card. It also helps us to know what areas students are the most concerned about as it relates to JMB.
Spring sports are in full swing, and we are back to a traditional spectator entry. Just a reminder $5 for adults and $2 for students with a student ID.
11th and 12th graders are eligible to drive to school but must purchase a parking permit. Next week students parked on school grounds without a permit, will receive a flyer/ticket.
School counselors will begin to visit flex classes over the next few weeks for students to begin scheduling their courses for next year. Please remind your student to make sure they are in the proper flex classes so they can select their courses for next year.

How do I Stay in the Know?
The best way to stay in the know is to make sure we have accurate information on file. Please look over all the information on the Student Personal Data and Enrollment Information Form as this is the information we currently have on file for you. Make any corrections to the form in blue. If you need additional space for emergency contact use a separate sheet of paper. Sign the back of the form and return it to the school. If you prefer to fill out a new form you can find a copy on our website.
