Check your AP Exam Registration
Click here, or below, to check your AP Course registration. Check out this website for general steps you were asked to take to get registered. You can also watch this AP Exam Registration YouTube Video for instructions. The deadline to register for the exam(s) was Friday, March 15th. If you discover you are not registered for the exam, see below for options.
Exam Location
Location: Most (not AP Englist Comp) exams will take place at the First Congregational Church (FCC) at 1050 E. 23rd Eugene. FCC is very close to SEHS and students can walk there from SEHS. Parking is pretty limited in the FCC parking lot. Carpooling, walking/biking or getting dropped off is recommended. Street parking is for two hours only. On Thursday, May 16th and Friday the 17th no one can park in the FCC parking lot until after 12:00.
Administration Time Frame
Each exam length is approximately 3 1/2 hours long but with breaks and instructions it turns out to be closer to 4 hours. The AM exams typically end close to noon but it can go longer, and the PM exams are closer to 4:00 pm, but it can go longer. We ask students to arrive 15 minutes prior to their start time. Students cannot leave before the exam administration is over. Your attendance will be excused to cover the exam timeline (prior, during and a little after) but not for the entire day. You can check your StudentVue for the approved excused periods. If you want additional periods excused you will need to have your parent/guardian call in your absence.
Some Exams Will Be Administered Digitally w/Bluebook
This year some of the exams, see below, will be administered digitally through Bluebook. This is the same program that was used for the 2023 PSAT/NMSQT exam and SAT exams this Spring. This needs to be downloaded prior to your digital AP exam.
You will need to download the Bluebook application if you are taking one of these exams this May.
-AP Computer Science Principles
-AP English Language Composition
-AP English Literature
To download the application you go to Managed Software Center, find Bluebook, and then press Install. You will need to make sure it is updated if he needs updating prior to your exam.
On test day you will need your computer fully charged.
For more information about a practice exam go to College Board Bluebook Digital Testing Website
Please Arrive 15 Minutes Prior To Your Exam
Do you think you have an AP Exam Conflict?
If you think you have a schedule conflict with one or more of your AP exams and you believe you qualify for the late exam, see below, please complete this AP Exam Conflict Google Form.
The most typical reasons for a late exam include:
-Two AP Exams scheduled at the same.
-An AP exam is the same time as an IB exam
-Athletic contest/event
-Academic contest/event
Complete List of College Board approved reasons for late testing can be found here.
What Should you Bring to the Exam(s) Administration?
Check out this website for the list of what you should and shouldn't bring to your exam administration.
If you are taking an exam digitally, you will need to bring your computer fully charged with your charger.
Not registered for the exam?
If it is after March 15th, it is too late to order an AP Exam this year. If you wanted to take the exam I suggest you consider doing one of following options:
-If you're a 9th, 10th or 11th grader you can sign up for the exam next year. You will need to contact me, Shantel Buss, in October to get the Exam Only Join Code
-If you are a 12th grader and are planning to attend a 4 year college next year, you can look to see if your college has a CLEP option. CLEP stands for College-Level Examination Program and it is similar to AP exams in the way it gives you the opportunity to show proficiency and has the ability to forgo certain courses.
