Florida Band Trip
The Westfield High School Band recently traveled to Florida for their long-awaited trip. The Band trip ran from March 10th - March 17th, and our students were able participate in a once-in-a-lifetime experience with their fellow Band members.
Our students performed in the Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom "Main Street Parade" on Tuesday, March 12th. It was an honor to be selected for this performance. Mrs. Mades and the Band spent endless hours preparing for their performance.
On Thursday, March 14th, the Band performed a Pep Band concert at Universal's City Walk, which is the shopping and entertainment district right outside of the Universal Theme Parks. The audience loved the amazing performance by our Band students.
Throughout the rest of the trip, students made memories and enjoyed their time while riding rides while experiencing Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, Disney Springs, Universal City Walk, Universal Studios Orlando, Universal's Islands of Adventure, and Sea World.
Prom: 2024
Prom is scheduled for Saturday, April 27th in the Multi-Purpose Building at Westfield Area High School/Middle School. Junior class advisors, along with the student Prom Committee, have been planning this event throughout the year.
Prom runs from 8:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Members of the public are invited, admission free, to watch the Grand March at approximately 8:30 PM.
Following Prom, students are able to participate in Westfield's amazing Post Prom event, hosted by the parents of junior class. Students are able to participate in a fun and safe environment. Post Prom typically includes exciting games, bounce houses, movies, games, food, and prizes. Thank you to the junior class parents for providing this safe opportunity to our students.
Administrative Professionals Day
We would like to wish our outstanding office teams a happy "Administrative Professionals Day." Our secretaries wear dozens of different hats throughout the day and help to keep our school running. We are grateful for their commitment to our students and our school.
