ESL Focus Groups
Enjoy coffee and conversation with your ESL colleagues
Coffee, tea, and light breakfast items will be served
What are focus groups?
Join us at Oakland Schools for a morning of coffee and conversation with your ESL colleagues. You will have the opportunity to network before the formal sessions and at the break. Each of the four structured focus groups will have a facilitator to lead a group discussion on a specified topic. The facilitator will propose several questions related to the topic. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions and participate in the discussion. We will also have dedicated spaces for "unconference" sessions. So, bring your ideas and participate in an unconference group. For more information on an unconference session click here.
