FINAL Redistricting Survey Due FEB. 13
February 2, 2024
From the Desk of Superintendent, Dr. Kevin S. Miller
Dear Licking Heights Families,
Thank you to the families who participated in our redistricting community meetings yesterday, Feb. 1 at 7:15 a.m. and 7 p.m. Your feedback will help to inform the final redistricting option we present to the Board of Education on Tues., Feb. 20 for their official approval. Please see below for the three options that were presented to the public last night.
Our final option for redistricting is now in the revision process before we present it to the Board. In the meantime, we have one final opportunity for you to share your thoughts via an online survey. Even if you were not able to make the meetings yesterday, you can still provide feedback. We welcome feedback from all district families, even if you will not be directly impacted by the options.
Click the button below to complete our final community input survey about redistricting. This is your last chance to share your thoughts on this process. The deadline to complete the survey is Tues., Feb. 13.
Before you complete the survey, make sure to visit the custom website for Licking Heights which has been created by Cooperative Strategies. This website is updated every time we move to the next stage in the process. You will find a variety of information on the website, including the presentation that was shared at our community meetings yesterday. Please click the button below to view it.
We will be in touch with you on Wed., Feb. 21 to share the redistricting option we will use for the 2024-2025 school year and onward. Keep an eye out for both an email and our print newsletter with the final option. A Boundary Locator tool is also available for you to view which school your student will attend based on your address.
As always, thank you for your patience and partnership.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kevin S. Miller, Superintendent
