Week 9- Running the Race and Finishing Well
Friends, we are almost to the finish line of our marathon. As we near the end of the year we want to take some time to acknowledge all the work that has been done, with creativity, perseverance, and hard work. Our Hippo Way has shone through you with the respect and compassion you have shown your students, parents and coworkers, perseverance through continuous calls to families, learning new technology, discovering creative ways to teach), taking on responsibility in unusual and unchartered ways and the courage to tackle a challenge that for most of you was out of your comfort zones. We also want to acknowledge that there have been frustrations, tears, worry, and that there is continued uneasiness and uncertainty about next year. Take some time this week to count your successes. Yes, it looks different, yes, it isn't how we wanted it, but isn't it amazing what we accomplished?
We are nearing the end of our marathon, and this may be the hardest stretch. How will we finish well? We hope that this newsletter encourages you and gives you helpful tips for finishing the year strong.
Fight the good fight. Finish the race. Keep the Faith.
